Zendaya’s new wax figure at London’s Madame Tussauds is receiving mixed reviews.
The figure, which will be a permanent part of the museum’s awards party zone, is set to be officially unveiled later this month.
Tim Waters, general manager at Madame Tussauds London gushed:
Zendaya just exudes cool. Not only that, she uses her celebrity status to join conversations, thoughtfully, on important social issues.
She is unapologetically herself — and we, along with her fans, love that about her.
With rumors circulating that Zendaya is soon to become a Londoner herself, the timing to pay homage to her at Madame Tussauds London could not be better.
The wax figure captures the “Euphoria” star wearing a vivid pink suit that she first wore in 2016 at the Humane Society of the United States To The Rescue Gala.
According to the museum the figure was sculpted using the measurements and references taken during her 2015 sitting with the artist for the world-famous attraction.
While we love our girl, some people feel like Zendaya’s wax figure isn’t giving what it needs to give.
