After what feels like forever, HBO has officially dropped the trailer for “Euphoria” Season 3, and the internet is already in a full-blown frenzy.

As I previously shared when HBO confirmed the April 2026 premiere date, the countdown was officially on, and now we finally have our first real look at what’s coming next for Rue and the rest of the crew.

Season 3 premieres Sunday, April 12 (9:00–10:00 p.m. ET/PT) on HBO, and it will also be available to stream on HBO Max with new episodes dropping weekly.

And if the trailer is any indication, things are about to get even deeper, darker, and messier than ever.

What’s The Plot For ‘Euphoria’ Season 3?

HBO is keeping details close to the chest, but they did release an official logline for the new season:

Season 3 Logline: A group of childhood friends wrestle with the virtue of faith, the possibility of redemption, and the problem of evil.

That description alone tells me we’re about to get a season that’s emotional, heavy, and probably going to have folks pausing scenes just to breathe.

  • Time: 9:00–10:00 p.m. ET/PT

Zendaya And The Main Cast Are Back

Of course, Zendaya returns as Rue, and Season 3 brings back several familiar faces fans have been waiting to see again.

Season 3 Series Regulars Include:

Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Toby Wallace

Returning Guest Stars Bring Even More Heat

And yes, some of your favorites are also returning in guest roles.

Season 3 Returning Guest Stars Include:

Colman Domingo, Dominic Fike, Nika King, Alanna Ubach, Sophia Rose Wilson, Melvin Bonez Estes, Daeg Faerch, Paula Marshall, Zak Steiner, Marsha Gambles

The New Guest Stars List Is Wild (In The Best Way)

Now THIS is where things get interesting because Season 3 is pulling in heavy hitters, unexpected names, and a few people that made me say “wait… THEM?!”

Season 3 New Guest Stars Include:

Sharon Stone, ROSALÍA, Danielle Deadwyler, Marshawn Lynch, Anna Van Patten, Asante Blackk, Bella Podaras, Bill Bodner, Cailyn Rice, Christopher Ammanuel, Christopher Grove, Colleen Camp, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Eli Roth, Gideon Adlon, Hemky Madera, Homer Gere, Jack Topalian, James Landry Hébert, Jeff Wahlberg, Jessica Blair Herman, Justin Sintic, Kadeem Hardison, Kwame Patterson, Madison Thompson, Matthew Willig, Meredith Mickelson, Natasha Lyonne, Priscilla Delgado, Rebecca Pidgeon, Sam Trammell, Smilez, Trisha Paytas, Tyler Lawrence Gray, Vinnie Hacker

That cast list is giving “anything can happen,” which is honestly right on brand for Euphoria.

Season 3 Is About To Look Insane Visually

One thing “Euphoria” always does is deliver visuals that feel like a movie, not “just” a TV show, and Season 3 is going even bigger.

According to HBO, Season 3 was shot on a new KODAK motion picture film stock in both 35mm and 65mm, and it’s reportedly the first narrative television series to shoot a significant volume in 65mm.

In other words… the visuals are about to be so gorgeous you might forget you’re watching people spiral.

Why This Season Feels Like A Major Moment

Euphoria” isn’t just a show, it’s a pop culture event.

HBO says it’s one of the most-watched series in the network’s history, and the first two seasons earned 25 Emmy nominations with 9 wins.

So the pressure is high, the expectations are higher, and Season 3 already looks like it’s stepping into bigger themes as the characters move beyond high school and into a “wider, wilder world.”

And if redemption, faith, and evil are the themes? Whew.
