Will Smith is back in the spotlight and ready to make waves with a major solo performance at the 2024 BET Awards.
This marks his first significant solo appearance since the infamous Oscar slap incident.
The highly anticipated event will air live on Sunday, June 30, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on BET.

This performance follows his surprise cameo with Colombian star J Balvin at the Coachella festival in April, where Will Smith wowed the crowd in full “Men in Black” costume during Balvin’s UFO-themed set.

The BET Awards will once again be hosted by Taraji P. Henson, bringing her charisma and charm to the stage.
The event will also honor Grammy-winning singer Usher with the Lifetime Achievement BET Award, recognizing his significant contributions to the music industry.
The lineup of performers promises a night full of entertainment and star power.
Alongside Will Smith, viewers can expect performances from Ice Spice, Sexyy Red, Latto, Lauryn Hill & YG Marley, Tyla, GloRilla, Muni Long, Shaboozey, and Victoria Monét, with Tanner Adell performing on the BET Amplified stage.
The event will also feature appearances by Cardi B, Davido, Gunna, the Roots, Common, Queen Latifah, and the Jungle Brothers.
Drake leads the nominees with seven nods, making it a night of fierce competition and celebration.
Connie Orlando will oversee and executive produce the show for BET alongside Jamal Noisette, SVP of tentpoles & music community engagement.
The production company for the show is Jesse Collins Entertainment, with Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon, and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay also serving as executive producers.
