Tyler Perry has the streets of social media buzzing after he teased Why Did I Get Married Again?, a third installment of his classic 2007 film, Why Did I Get Married?
Richard T. Jones, who starred in the films as “Mike”, kicked off the tomfoolery when he took to Instagram and posted a video of himself on a flight.
The caption on the video read: “POV: I had to make Sheila drive again.”
Jill Scott, who starred in the Tyler Perry film as “Sheila,” responded with a video of her own.
But, it didn’t stop there.
Tasha Smith and Michael Jai White – yes, “Angela” and “Marcus” – joined in on the reindeer games.
Before it was all said and done, Sharon Leal, who starred as “Diane,” entered the chat.
Seeing his cast assemble on the fly like Avengers clearly got Tyler Perry’s wheels turning because he took to Instagram on Sunday morning and teased the possibility of another Why Did I Get Married (Again)? film.
Now, this isn’t the first time this film has become a topic of discussion.
You may recall that in 2022, the entertainment mogul told “Entertainment Tonight” that he was on “GO” if Janet Jackson and Jill Scott agreed to do another film.

She took to Twitter in October 2022 to try to rally Janet Jackson to agree to another film.
Apparently, Janet Jackson left that text on “Read” because we are still waiting two years later…
Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married? hit theaters in 2007, featuring an all-star cast including Janet Jackson, Jill Scott, Tyler Perry, Tasha Smith, Michael Jai White, Sharon Leal, and Malik Yoba.
This ensemble played a group of close friends who embark on a reunion road trip to the Colorado mountains, where they confront the highs and lows of their relationships.
The film’s success led to a sequel, Why Did I Get Married Too?, released in 2010, with the cast reprising their roles for more emotional drama and reflection.
