Mysterious Deaths Of Qaadir Malik Lewis and Naazir Rahim Lewis Raise Questions
The family of twin brothers Qaadir Malik Lewis and Naazir Rahim Lewis is demanding answers after their bodies were discovered at the top of Bell Mountain in Hiawassee, Georgia.
The shocking find has left loved ones struggling to understand how the 19-year-olds, who were supposed to be in Boston, ended up dead in an unfamiliar location.
According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), hikers found the remains of the Lawrenceville twins on March 8 and alerted authorities at around 11:05 a.m.
The Towns County Sheriff’s Office quickly involved the GBI, which later confirmed that both teens suffered gunshot wounds.
A preliminary investigation suggests the case may be a murder-suicide, though official autopsy results are pending.

A Planned Trip That Never Happened
The timeline leading up to Qaadir and Naazir’s deaths has only deepened the mystery.
Family members told NBC affiliate WXIA that the twins had purchased plane tickets and were scheduled to fly to Boston at 7 a.m. on March 7.
However, just 24 hours later, their bodies were found nearly 90 miles from their Lawrenceville home in a place their family insists they had never even heard of.
Samira Brawner, the twins’ aunt, voiced the family’s confusion: “How did they end up out in the mountains? They don’t hike out there, they’ve never been out there. They don’t know anything about Hiawassee, Georgia.”
The teens’ plane tickets were reportedly found in their wallets, reinforcing the family’s belief that something went terribly wrong.
Loved Ones Challenge The Murder-Suicide Theory
Relatives of Qaadir and Naazir are struggling to accept the early findings that suggest one brother may have killed the other before taking his own life.
Rahim Brawner, their uncle, described the deep bond between the twins, saying, “They’re very protective of each other. They love each other. They’re like inseparable. I couldn’t imagine them hurting each other because I’ve never seen them get into a fistfight before.”
Yasmine Brawner, another aunt, echoed those doubts.
She launched a GoFundMe campaign to help with funeral and memorial expenses, emphasizing that the twins “wouldn’t do this.”
She described them as ambitious young men who dreamed of starting their own clothing line and had a strong support system.
“Something happened in those mountains,” she stated, urging further investigation.

Investigation Ongoing As Family Seeks Justice
While the GBI has completed autopsies, additional forensic testing is still underway.
A spokesperson for the agency confirmed that official results are pending, leaving room for further inquiry into what really happened at Bell Mountain.
The tragedy of Qaadir Malik Lewis and Naazir Rahim Lewis has left a grieving family desperate for the truth.
As they continue to seek answers, their story has drawn widespread attention, with many questioning how two young men with promising futures could meet such a tragic and unexplained end.
For now, their loved ones are holding onto hope that more details will emerge and that justice will be served.
If you have any information related to the case, authorities urge you to come forward.
This is a developing story…
My sincerest condolences and prayers to the Lewis family.
