“Los Angeles is where all the monsters of the world come together – trust no one!” HBO has released another teaser trailer for “The Idol.”
The six-episode series, co-created by Sam Levinson, Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye, and Reza Fahim, is set against the backdrop of the music industry.
It centers on a self-help guru and leader of a modern-day cult, who develops a complicated relationship with an up-and-coming pop idol.
“The Idol” is slated to premiere in 2023, an official date has yet to be announced.
