A lot of people on X (Twitter) have been calling for Sandra Bullock to lose her Oscar since Michael Oher alleged that Leigh Anne Tuohy, the woman she portrayed in The Blind Side, took part in tricking him into signing a conservatorship and negotiating deals without his knowledge.

Quinton Aaron said that he thinks it makes no sense for Sandra Bullock to lose her Oscar because she had nothing to do with the recent allegations from Michael Oher.

We live in a society today where people are so hell-bent on pointing blame on people.

And to make a statement like that doesn’t make any sense.

Sandra Bullock didn’t have anything to do with the real story that we’re reading, you know, as of right now.

I think people just need to chill out, relax, and let the families involved handle whatever is going on.

And I guess just enjoy the show because it’s out there for everyone to see.

But, um, saying stuff, like, she needs to relinquish her title doesn’t make any sense.

She gave a brilliant performance, you know, and that shouldn’t be tarnished for, you know, something that had nothing to do with her.

Sandra Bullock won the Oscar in 2010 for her portrayal of Leigh Anne Tuohy in Michael Oher’s real-life story captured in the 2009 hit film, The Blind Side.

Quinton Aaron said he hasn’t talked to the Tuohys since the movie came out, but when he met them he said he got a good sense from them, and they were real cool.

He expressed the same sentiments about Michael Oher, even though he said he met him years later at an autograph signing in Chicago in 2013.

I got a good sense from all of them. They were real cool to me.

Quinton said he’s not taking sides in the allegations because he loves both parties, and the most he can do is pray that they resolve their issues.

Reportedly, the Touhy family has claimed that Michael Oher tried to shake them down for $15 million before coming out with the allegations.

  1. Nope! They need to leave Sandra alone. She warned that award and should keep it. I hope she doesn’t allow “cancel culture” to pressure her into giving up the Oscar.

  2. I agree with him. Her playing the role has nothing to do with whether or not the story is true. Why wait so long to say it was all a lie?
