‘Tenet’ Release Delayed Indefinitely Due To Coronavirus

First, the Fat Boys break up…now, Christopher Nolan‘s highly anticipated film, Tenet, has been pushed back indefinitely.

Thanks to Rona, the movie-going experience is non-existent, but I held steadfast in the hope of watching John David Washington and Robert Pattinson turning up in this mind-bending film.

After the third delay due to Rona, I had hoped Warner Bros. would consider releasing this film on a streamer like Netflix.

Unfortunately, that’s not an option considering the film’s $225 million budget.

Warner Bros. chairman Toby Emmerich said in a statement:

We will share a new 2020 release date imminently for ‘Tenet,’ Christopher Nolan’s wholly original and mind-blowing feature.

Our goals throughout this process have been to ensure the highest odds of success for our films while also being ready to support our theater partners with new content as soon as they could safely reopen.

Welp.
