Tamar Braxton and JR Robinson are taking us out of the group chat!
The singer and reality TV star recently sat down with Carlos King for a live conversation and fielded questions regarding her relationship and engagement with JR.
When Carlos mentioned Tamar was engaged, she responded, “Y’all do not like that man,” causing the audience to uproar.
Carlos King tried to vouch for JR Robinson saying, “He’s a really nice guy. He’s handsome. When I look at him I sometimes crave for a two-piece chicken – you know…thigh and leg with mashed potatoes, cole slaw, and a biscuit” (referencing his Colonel Sanders KFC joke).
But, when Carlos tried to dig deeper into Tamar Braxton’s relationship – she pumped the brakes on him saying, “So, the truth of the matter is JR and I decided that we would keep our relationship completely private. No matter what the status is we decided that we would keep private from everyone.”
Tamar said she took a page out of Ashanti’s book “who works and minds her f—g business.”
She added, “Her and Nelly got back together and we didn’t know nothing about it, you know? They are living happily ever after with absolutely no drama and no interference.”

Tamar Braxton and JR Robinson got engaged on the Peacock dating series, “Queens Court” in March 2023.
They split in October and Tamar reconciled with her Caucasian King in December.
I think it’s time they turn on the privacy sign.
