Jamila Adams Testified About The Alleged Incident

During the trial, Adams told jurors that Diggs allegedly struck her with an open hand and wrapped his arm around her neck during a confrontation on Dec. 2, 2025.

According to Adams, the dispute stemmed from money she believed she was owed while working as Diggs’ private chef.

Adams also testified that the two previously had a sexual relationship but were no longer romantically involved at the time of the alleged incident.

She reported the alleged assault to police on Dec. 16, nearly two weeks after she claimed it happened.

Stefon Diggs’ Defense Argued There Was No Evidence

Diggs’ defense team focused heavily on the lack of physical evidence tied to the allegations.

Defense attorney Andrew Kettlewell argued there were no medical records, photos, videos, or witness testimony supporting Adams’ claims.

The defense also pointed to Adams’ reported financial demands after the incident, including a request seeking $5.5 million in damages from Diggs.

During cross-examination, Adams repeatedly said she could not answer questions about the financial demand or did not understand them.

At multiple points during the trial, Judge Jeanmarie Carroll instructed jurors to disregard portions of Adams’ testimony that exceeded the scope of questioning.
