UPDATE (August 17): Skai Jackson will not face charges after her arrest for domestic violence.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office said they are declining to file charges against the former Disney star because she has no criminal history.
They also added that the alleged victim didn’t suffer any injuries and has refused to cooperate with prosecutors.

Skai Jackson, the former Disney Channel star known for her roles in “Jessie” and “Bunk’d,” has found herself in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.
Last week, Jackson was arrested for domestic violence after an incident with her boyfriend at Universal CityWalk.
Sources revealed that security noticed a heated argument between the actress and her boyfriend, during which Skai allegedly pushed him multiple times.
Despite both parties denying any physical altercation, with Skai telling the police that they were happily engaged and expecting a baby together.
Footage reviewed by deputies reportedly showed otherwise.
Skai Jackson was arrested on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge, cited, and released within a few hours.
“Based on the initial investigation, it was determined Ms. Jackson was the primary aggressor and was arrested for misdemeanor spousal battery,” an LASD spokesperson told the Los Angeles Times in a statement.
The case is now under review by the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office to determine if formal charges will be filed.
Interestingly, little is known about Skai Jackson’s boyfriend, as she’s kept their relationship largely private, steering clear of sharing details on social media.
