Savannah Guthrie is still holding onto hope as the search for her mother continues.
She shared a new video update revealing that her family has increased the reward for information leading to the recovery of her 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie, to $1 million.
The reward was previously set at $100,000.
Nancy has been missing since February 1, when she was taken from her home in the middle of the night.
Savannah described the past 24 days as “agony,” saying her family has been “fearing for her and aching for her and most of all just missing her.”
“We Need Her To Come Home”
In her message, Savannah acknowledged the painful uncertainty surrounding her mother’s disappearance.
“We also know that she may be lost… she may already have gone home to the Lord that she loves and is dancing in Heaven,” she said. “But we need to know where she is. We need her to come home.”
Her sister Annie summed it up in a way that truly resonates: they are “blowing on the embers of hope.”
Investigation Update
Authorities believe Nancy was kidnapped after surveillance footage captured a masked intruder outside her home.
Investigators say they have received tens of thousands of tips and remain committed to finding answers.
In the midst of their heartbreak, the Guthrie family is also donating $500,000 to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, extending their compassion to other families navigating similar pain.
If you have any information, you are urged to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or the Pima County Sheriff’s Office at 520-351-4900.
This kind of waiting is unimaginable. I’m keeping Savannah and her family lifted and praying for clarity, comfort, and, if possible, a miracle.
