It’s with a heavy heart and disbelief that I report Rich Homie Quan has passed away at the age of 34.

The rapper, whose real name is Dequantes Devontay Lamar, was found in his Atlanta home on Thursday, according to his family and a representative from the Fulton County morgue.

A newly-released 911 call revealed Rich Homie Quan’s girlfriend, Amber Williams, discovered his body on the couch of their home.

She told the dispatcher that he never came to bed on Wednesday night, instead sleeping on the couch.

When she got up to take her son to school, Quan was still asleep on the couch so she covered him with a blanket.

Amber said she became alarmed when she returned home and Rich Homie Quan was still on the couch.

I just checked on him again because he never got up. I don’t feel a heartbeat. I don’t see him breathing. I turned him over…he kinda foamed at the mouth.

The 911 dispatcher instructed Amber to lay him Rich Homie Quan flat on the floor to possibly begin CPR.

That’s when Amber began to panic and said, “His heart not beating or anything!”

His official cause of death has not been released, but unconfirmed reports from other artists and industry insiders allege it was due to a drug overdose.

Lil Boosie took to Twitter, writing, “JUST GOT WORD @RichHomieQuan JUST OD‼️ JUST TALK TO WUAN THE OTHER DAY #gomissunigga”
