Niko Khale took to social media over the weekend to reveal he is recovering after being stabbed multiple times and he’s happy to be breathing on his own.
The 27-year-old aspiring artist and father of Keyshia Cole’s son, Tobias Khale, shared a few photos that included one of him in a hospital bed.
The caption on Niko’s post read:
Got stabbed in my chest and my arm. My lung was punctured and collapsed. My diaphragm was also ruptured. They had to cut my stomach open and put a tube in my chest so I could breathe. By the grace of God today I’m back on my feet and I am breathing on my own.

Niko didn’t go into details about the incident around his stabbing, but folks in the comment section have come to the conclusion that it was his ex-girlfriend.

Keyshia Cole and Niko Khale began dating in 2018 and the singer, 14 years his senior, was heavily criticized for their age difference.
At the time, she addressed it via social media writing, “He’s been such a sweetheart to me, and I kno people have been very judgmental about our relationship but I gotta nurture what nurtures me!”
Niko and Keyshia welcomed baby boy Tobias in August 2019.
Unfortunately, Keyshia Cole ended the relationship in October 2020.
Niko took to social media writing, “My heart is broken. My mind is open.”
With that being said, Niko Khale is “lucky to be alive.”
