NFL champion running back Leonard Fournette posted to his Instagram that he’s still blessed after escaping a car fire while driving on the highway.
Leonard Fournette posted a video of his 2021 Dodge Durango Hellcat SUV in the median of the highway with severe burn damage to the front end, along with the caption:
Man it was one of those days today, but I would like thank God, my car caught on fire while I was driving, But I’am still blessed 🙏❤️

According to a spokesperson for the Florida Highway Ratrol, Fournette was traveling North on the interstate near Fowler Ave. around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday (June 27) when his car caught fire due to a mechanical issue.
Fournette stopped the vehicle on the inside shoulder of the road, near the median, and escaped unharmed.
Tampa Fire Rescue said their firefighters, some responders from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office and Hillsborough County Fire Rescue, helped douse the fire and direct traffic in the northbound lanes of Interstate 275.
Leonard Fournette is currently a free agent after spending his last three seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He won an NFL Championship with the Tampa Bay Bucs in 2021.
