Beyoncé fans, get ready! Netflix is releasing the “Beyoncé Bowl”, a standalone special capturing Queen Bey’s electrifying halftime performance from NFL Christmas Gameday.
Dubbed the “Beyoncé Bowl”, the show took place in Beyoncé’s hometown of Houston, Texas, at the NRG Stadium, and was produced by Parkwood Entertainment and Jesse Collins Entertainment.
The 12-minute performance not only delivered Beyoncé’s signature show-stopping energy but also marked the first live performance of songs from her record-breaking COWBOY CARTER album.
Beyoncé entered the stadium on horseback, kicking off an unforgettable setlist that included hits like “16 Carriages,” “Blackbiird,” “Ameriican Requiem,” “Ya Ya,” “Spaghetti/Riiverdance,” “Levii’s Jeans,” “Jolene,” and the viral anthem “Texas Hold ‘Em”, which ended with her dramatic ascent to the rafters.
The performance wasn’t just about Beyoncé—it was a family affair!
Blue Ivy Carter, Beyoncé’s eldest daughter, joined the stage as a dancer, earning cheers from the crowd. The Houston Texans cheerleaders also added to the festivities.
Beyoncé paid homage to Western and rodeo culture with appearances from trailblazing figures like Mexican cowgirl Melanie Rivera, bull-riding legend Myrtis Dightman Jr., Miss Rodeo Texas alum Nikki Woodward, and Arkansas’ first Black Rodeo Queen, Ja’Dayia Kursh.
The Texas Southern University Ocean of Soul Marching Band, featuring nearly 200 members, elevated the energy to epic levels.
Netflix subscribers can relive the magic when the “Beyoncé Bowl” debuts on the platform later this week.
Don’t miss this chance to experience Beyoncé, Blue Ivy Carter, and a celebration of music and culture that redefines halftime history.
