Nelly has issued a formal apology after a private video was leaked on his Instagram Story.
The rapper was trending in the streets of social media on Tuesday as people discussed and reacted to the video.
According to Barstool Sports, this was the very moment Nelly realized the video was going viral.
He has since issued the following apology via TMZ:
I sincerely apologize to the young lady and her family, this is unwanted publicity for her/them.
This was an old video that was private and never meant to go public.
Nelly’s team is allegedly investigating the breach to make sure none of his other private videos or confidential information is leaked online.
Doesn’t he know there are encrypted apps to protect things like this? Apparently not.
