Naomi Osaka took to social media to announce that she and Cordae have parted ways.
For some reason, this feels like Groundhog Day—but I’m rolling with it.
The tennis star shared the news on her Instagram Story, writing that she has come to the conclusion that what’s meant for her is meant for her.
She reflected that certain situations may occur to prepare her mind for what’s ahead, adding, “Maybe there are bigger and better things on my path, and I just have to continue the journey to encounter them. That being said, this about to be a great year 😌😉.”
A few hours later, Naomi returned to her Instagram Story to share, “Hi everyone, just wanted to say that Cordae and I are no longer in a relationship.”
“No bad blood at all, he’s a great person and an awesome dad,” She wrote.
“Honestly, really glad our paths crossed because my daughter is the biggest blessing, and I was able to grow a lot from our experiences together ❤️.”
Naomi Osaka and Cordae began dating in 2019 and welcomed their baby girl, Shai, in July 2023.
