Prime Video is giving my Atlanta Frens a special treat. There’s an exclusive advance screening of Amazon MGM Studios’ new comedy “Merv,” and I had to make sure you knew about it so you can pull up and see it early before it premieres on December 10.
We love a good early scoop.
If you’ve ever gone through a breakup and your dog ended up more heartbroken than you, this movie is about to hit home in the funniest way possible.
“Merv” follows Anna played by Zooey Deschanel and Russ played by Charlie Cox.
Their beloved dog Merv completely loses his spark after their split, which forces them into the world’s most awkward co-parenting situation.
In hopes of lifting Merv’s spirits, Russ decides to take him on a Florida getaway.
Everything is going great until Anna pops up unexpectedly.
As Merv slowly finds his groove again, the real twist is that fixing the dog’s heartbreak might just reignite a few sparks between his humans.
Frens, if that doesn’t sound like the cutest, funniest chaos, I don’t know what does.
