Universal Pictures has pushed back the release date of the highly anticipated sequel, M3GAN 2.0, from January 17, 2025, to May 16, 2025.
The film was pushed back to make room for a new addition to the Blumhouse 2025 slate, The Woman in the Yard, starring Danielle Deadwyler.

The Jaume Collet-Serra-directed film is slated to be released on January 10, 2025.
The original M3GAN arrived in theaters in January 2022 and starred Allison Williams as a brilliant toy company roboticist who created a life-like AI doll programmed to be a child’s greatest companion and a parent’s greatest ally.
In a series of unfortunate events, M3GAN proves to be a psycho killer who makes Chucky look like a Boy Scout.
The plot for M3GAN 2.0 is still under wraps, but Allison Williams and Violet McGraw are attached to the sequel.
