Brittish Williams’ ex-fiancé and former professional basketball player Lorenzo Gordon has been indicted on three counts of wire fraud and one count of theft of government property.
The federal indictment comes just three months after Brittish was sentenced to four years in prison for 15 fraud-related felonies.
Lorenzo is accused of lying on COVID-19 business relief applications about how long he had operated two business, how much money they made, and thither he was the sole owner of a janitorial company.
Federal prosecutors say Lorenzo Gordon unlawfully collected nearly $273,000.
During an interview with Carlos King, Brittish Williams admitted that Lorenzo was “somewhat” knowledgeable of her fraud crimes, which may have been a smoking gun in his case.
The former “Basketball Wives” star failed to check into prison on time after she was given an extension to spend the holidays with her daughter.
According to RadarOnline.com, the reality star was scheduled to turn herself in on January 3, 2024, to begin her four-year prison sentence.
But, hours before her scheduled surrender, she made a last-minute plea for the court to reduce her sentence to 2.6 years.
After failing to check in on January 3, 2024, Brittish asked the court to extend her surrender date AGAIN while a decision was made on her motion to reduce her sentence.
Brittish Williams was arrested on January 12.
Do you think Brittish’s interview with Carlos King blew up Lorenzo Gordon’s spot?
