We are saddened to report LaKevia Jackson was shot and killed outside of an Atlanta bowling alley on Thursday night following a dispute over a bowling ball.
She was 31-years-young.
According to LaKevia’s mother, she attended her best friend’s birthday celebration at Metro Fun Center in Southwest Atlanta and got into a dispute with a man over a bowling ball.
Jackson’s mother alleges that the shooter waited in the parking lot for 20 minutes for LaKevia to leave.
According to police, Lakevia was shot several times in the parking lot.
Sherina Jackson told CBS46:
I didn’t know that was going to be the last time I talked to my baby.
I could hear her over the phone crying and screaming then her best friend said she’s not breathing!
LaKevia Jackson was the proud mother to her 14-year-old son, Kyvion, who she shares with rapper Young Thug.
Kyvion’s parents met when they were young and lived in the same apartment complex together before Thug became famous.
Sherina Jackson says her grandson is “not doing well.”
The Atlanta Police Department said they know who the suspect is and they will bring him into custody.
