Krayzie Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony took to social media on Tuesday and spoke out after he was hospitalized with an arterial bleed in his lungs on September 23.
The 50-year-old rapper, whose real name is Anthony Henderson, reportedly checked himself into the hospital after he began coughing up blood.
You may recall that Krayzie Bone is battling sarcoidosis, an inflammatory disease in which the immune system overreacts, causing groups of cells to form clusters of inflamed tissue called granulomas in one or more organs in the body.
Krayzie underwent two surgeries to stop the bleeding and was placed in a medically-induced coma to allow his body to heal.
Krayzie Bone Speaks Out
The rapper took to his official Instagram account on Tuesday to with a message of gratitude and caution.
He wrote:
Just fought for life “Literally for 9 days straight.” And I only won the battle this time because I know Jehovah God was with every step of the way fighting for me.
Never take life for granted enjoy it while have you have it! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers trust me I needed every last on of them
