šŸ™šŸ¾Ā Rest In Peace

Kirk Medas’ untimely passing has left a huge void in the hearts of his loved ones and fans.

He was a shining light onĀ “Floribama Shore,” and his legacy will live on through the memories and laughter he shared with the world.

Candace Renee shared a beautiful tribute writing:

I’m sure I’m the last to post. It’s hitting me hard that this is a new reality. I can barely sleep.

My brother. My friend. I was for sure you’ll pull through.

You sent me a voice memo in the hospital, and I didn’t keep it. I was for sure you’d pull through.

I’ve been mourning all I couldn’t wait to see for you… the type of person you were would have been the best husband, amazing father (the kids love Kirk baby), and Kirk wanted to transition into acting and entrepreneurship.

Kirk understood my humor better than anyone else.

I’ve lived my whole life misunderstood and masking. Talking to Kirk was a safe space for me…I never had to mask with him.

You could vent to Kirk, party with Kirk, cry with Kirk, and vibe with Kirk… he was that type of person. An overall amazing guy for lack of more unique words.

Kirk was pure and didn’t gatekeep anything.

As I’ve been transitioning to ATL, the first thing I was worried about was building community here and taking care of Maxwell and his needs on my own.

I was soo mad at Kirk for moving to Miami and the first thing Kirk said was, ā€œi gotchu. imma put you on to my good friends for u to hang with and help you get a job at a nice bar in Buckhead or some boogie area, u pretty and talk well, that’s enoughā€ šŸ˜‚ .

He was ready to help anyone, at any moment if he could.

Kirk was loved beyond understanding. He was a wild free spirit… and I know he got Heaven jumping right now. There’ll never be another @kirkmedas.

You’re an MTV icon… in actual REAL life. Adored in real life. Changed lives with your infectious energy in real life.

Every time I eat a piece of chicken off the grill… imma just go ahead and burn my tongue. I KNOW Kirk’s spirit behind me making sure I eat it hot šŸ˜‚

Love you forever Kirk. I know heaven couldn’t WAIT for you…
