Keith Lee Tosses BET Awards Rose From Taraji P. Henson

Keith Lee doesn’t want or need any flowers from Taraji P. Henson.

The wildly popular social media food critic attended the 2024 BET Awards with his wife, Ronni.

During a segment of the award show, Taraji P. Henson began giving out flowers to people in the crowd.

In an awfully embarrassing moment, the Oscar-nominated actress mistook TikToker Jordan Howlett (known as Jordan Thee Stallion) for Keith Lee.

She walked up to Jordan, whom she referred to as a “Method Man look-a-like.”

“Meth is married – are you?” she asked.

After exchanging pleasantries, Taraji made it very clear she had mistaken Jordan for Keith Lee.

She said, “Mr. Keith Lee, I know what you’re thinking right now, this is about a 10.9 outta 10?”

Jordan, who appeared to have secondhand embarrassment, pointed to Keith Lee, who also looked embarrassed.

Taraji quickly offered an apology.

“I got caught up in my own inner monologue, I’m so sorry.”

Taraji P. Henson then told Keith, “You fine too… call me,” right in front of his wife.

Keith Lee kept it cool in the moment; however, after the awards, he took to TikTok and tossed the rose from Taraji on the ground.

In the caption of the now-deleted post, Keith wrote:

Our name will be known in every room it’s supposed to be, when its supposed to be, how it supposed, with no confusion 💕
