In a surprising twist, Linda Mathis has filed for divorce from her husband, longtime TV judge Greg Mathis, after 39 years of marriage.
The couple, who separated on July 17, are parting ways due to irreconcilable differences.
While child support and custody aren’t issues—since their four children (Jade Mathis, Camara Mathis Webb, Greg Mathis Jr., and Amir Mathis) are all adults—Linda is seeking spousal support.
Interestingly, she’s also requesting that the court deny Greg any spousal support in return.
Greg and Linda Mathis married in June 1985, just a couple of years after Greg finished college, and 14 years later, Greg made his debut in the world of reality TV with his first court show.
With “Mathis Family Matters” debuting just two years ago, one can’t help but wonder if their marriage fell victim to the reality TV curse.
Hopefully, he doesn’t call me a crackhead over this post.
