It’s with a heavy heart that I report Jaylon Ferguson has passed away.
The 26-year-old Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker known as “Sack Daddy” was found unresponsive on Tuesday night at about 11:25 p.m.
He was treated by paramedics, but he never regained consciousness and was pronounced dead on the scene.
Baltimore Police said there were no signs of trauma found or signs of foul play suspected at this time.
Jaylon Ferguson’s body was transported to the medical examiner’s office, where a cause of death will be determined.
The Baltimore Ravens released the following statement:
We are profoundly saddened by the tragic passing of Jaylon Ferguson.
He was a kind, respectful young man with a big smile and infectious personality. We express our heartfelt condolences to Jaylon’s family and friends as we mourn a life lost much too soon.
