What a time to be alive for Victoria Monét!
The beautiful and incredibly talented artist has gone from writing songs for Ariana Grande, Chris Brown, Brandy, and Chloe x Halle to make ends meet to becoming a seven-time Grammy-nominated artist!
The 34-year-old R&B singer’s hit single, “On My Mama” is up for Record of the Year, Best New Artist, Best R&B Performance (“How Does It Make You Feel”), Best R&B Song (“On My Mama”), Best R&B Album (JAGUAR II), and Producer of the Year, Non-Classical.
Victoria’s 2½-year-old daughter, Hazel Monét has also scooped a Grammy nomination for Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Hollywood,” which also features Earth, Wind, & Fire.
Hazel is officially the youngest Grammy nominee ever.
