Jackie Farris was a remarkable woman—Mother, Mentor, Minister, Musician, Singer, Songwriter, and Author—who left an indelible mark on the world.

Her journey took her across six of the seven continents, where she performed in studios and on stages alongside some of the most iconic names in the music industry, including Elton John, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, Diana Ross, Chaka Khan, Quincy Jones, Patti LaBelle, Jill Scott, Yolanda Adams, and many others.

In addition to her musical achievements, Jackie was a prolific author.

Her autobiography, “How Would I Know,” provided a personal and insightful account of her extraordinary life.

In “True Worshippers,” she explored the biblical aspects of Praise and Worship, offering an in-depth treatise that resonated with believers and worship leaders.

Her final work was significant, as she candidly shared her experiences as the mother of three Grammy-nominated artists: Daniel (D Smoke) Farris, Sir Darryl Farris (Inglewood Sir), and Davion Farris—each of whom made significant contributions to the music industry.

Jackie Farris’ life was a testament to her deep faith, her devotion to her family, and her passion for music, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire.

Please join me in sending love, prayers, and our sincerest condolences to the Farris family during this extremely difficult time.
