Chris Tucker - Jackie Chan - Rush Hour 4-1

The streets of Twitter are buzzing after Jackie Chan revealed Rush Hour 4 is in the works!

The legendary actor and martial artist shared the exciting news during a rare on-stage appearance at the Red Sea Film Festival on Thursday.

When asked about Rush Hour 4, Jackie said, “We’re talking about part 4 right now.”

The franchise follows a Hong Kong detective inspector (Chan) who forms an unlikely relationship with a loudmouthed LAPD officer (Chris Tucker) to solve a series of international crimes.

He added that he was going to meet with the film’s director to discuss the script.

Brett Ratner previously directed all three Rush Hour films, however, he hasn’t directed a film since 2014.

You may recall in 2017, seven women, including Olivia Munn and Natasha Henstridge, accused the filmmaker of sexual harassment and misconduct.

Who will direct the film is not of any concern to the fans who are buzzing about the possibility of a sequel in the streets of Twitter.
