Jackée Harry recently stopped by the “Jennifer Hudson Show” and revealed she was “so mad” when she landed the role of Sandra Clark on the hit NBC sitcom, “227.”

She explained that she wanted to be a great drama actress like Diahann Carroll, but she just so happened to be funny and ended up getting “227.”

I was so mad.  I was so mad, oh God.

Because I was going to be a serious actress and win Tonys and you know win Oscars and be all that and be powerful and then I just so happened to be funny.

And then that was over and that was a great success…then I got ‘Sister, Sister,’ which I didn’t want to do.

Well, I didn’t want to be nobody’s mama. I thought I was a hot, sexy…you know I still had it going on.

I didn’t want to be somebody’s mama and then I met those girls (Tia and Tamera Mowry) and fell in love.

Jackée Harry expressed her gratitude for how the show transcended and resonated with a younger generation.

Then, she added, “Who knew? I thought I’d be in San Diego in my condo with a young boy like Cher.”

Watch the hilarious clip below where Jackée talks about Marla Gibbs asking what “WAP” means and more.
