Storm Reid is set to star in Get Lite, the directorial debut of Teyana Taylor, which is in development at Paramount Pictures.
According to Deadline, the film tracks the journey of a dedicated New York City teen whose life takes a turn when he falls for a captivating beatmaker (portrayed by Reid).
She invites him to join her Litefeet dance crew, presenting him with a dilemma: stick to a secure academic route or reignite his passion for dance.
Storm Reid, who recently won her first Emmy award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her work on HBO’s “The Last of Us,” will also executive produce Get Lite alongside Kenya Barris.
