Vontae Davis, a former NFL star who retired back in 2018, has passed away. He was just 35 years old.
According to the Davie Police Department, Davis was found dead in Southwest Ranches, Florida, early on a Monday morning.
His body was discovered in a home owned by his grandmother, Adaline Davis, as reported by the Miami Fox affiliate WSVN.
The police were called to the residence after a medical call was made by a house assistant who found Vontae deceased.
While the investigation is ongoing, preliminary information suggests no foul play is involved.
