En Vogue is set to guest star in an upcoming episode of “Empire.”
Taraji P. Henson, who stars as Cookie Lyon, will be pulling double duty because she’s also directing the episode.
The group (Cindy Herron-Braggs, Terry Ellis and Rhona Bennett) will be playing themselves when Cookie books them on her “Tea Talk” talk show.
Terry told Variety:
We’ve been fans of ‘Empire’ from its inception. We love the infusion of performance and soundtracks — that’s been a great launching pad for upcoming artists.
Being on set with Taraji brought back memories of how far we’ve come.
The episode, titled, “Come Undone,” will air on March 17.
