After days of protests and civil unrest, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison will announce aiding and abetting charges against the three other ex-Minneapolis officers involved in the killing of George Floyd.

Charges against Derek Chauvin, who has already been arrested for 3rd-degree murder and manslaughter in the killing, will be upgraded to 2nd-degree murder, according to Sen. Amy Klobuchar.

The news comes on the heels of Governor Tim Walz announcing civil rights charges against the Minneapolis Police Department.
