Dallas Cowboys scout Chris Vaughn has social media in their feels over a video of him telling his son, Deuce Vaughn, that they will be working together.
Deuce Vaughn was drafted with the number 212 overall pick in the sixth round of the 2023 draft on Saturday (April 29), and his father, Chris Vaughn, made the call and welcomed him to the team.
Chris Vaughn, trying his best to maintain his emotions, said to his son:
Hey Buddy!…
Ah, it’s going good. My phone wasn’t working, but, look here man…
You want to come to work with me next week?
After Deuce responded, “I wouldn’t mind that at all,” the room exploded with joy and cheer.
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones then got on the phone and welcomed Deuce to the team.
