A Painful Lesson, Literally
Chrisean Rock is learning a hard lesson the painful way, and frankly, it is one she never should have had to learn at all.
The reality star and rapper shared a video of herself undergoing laser treatment to remove the face tattoo she once dedicated to Blueface.
The tattoo, which featured his name and likeness inked directly onto the side of her face, quickly became one of the most talked-about and widely criticized decisions of their chaotic relationship.
As the laser burned across her skin, Chrisean struggled to hold herself together.
She cried through the procedure, whispering, “That’s what I get,” a statement that felt less like self-pity and more like an overdue realization.
And honestly, she is not wrong.
A Decision That Never Made Sense
Let’s be clear. Getting anyone’s name tattooed on your face is wild behavior.
Doing it for a man who publicly embarrassed you, disrespected you, and dragged your relationship through social media was an extremely poor decision.
This was never romantic. It was reckless.
For months, fans warned Chrisean that branding her face with Blueface’s name would not age well.
And now, as she sits through a painful and expensive removal process, the consequences are impossible to ignore.
After undergoing the procedure, Chrisean took to her Instagram Story writing:
Removing the tattoo from my face was a huge accomplishment for me.
I didn’t realize how emotionally attached I was to it until today.
Letting it go released so much trauma I’ve been carrying.
It feels like I closed a chapter and chose healing. 💌🕊️✝️

Following her procedure, Chrisean Rock went on a date with her baby boy.

Blueface, Right on Cue
As if on schedule, Blueface added fuel to the fire.
Not long after Chrisean’s emotional video made the rounds, the rapper posted footage showing off his new girlfriend, “the golden retriever,” who had just gotten his first name, “Jonathan,” tattooed under her chin.
Blueface praised the tattoo and made a point to emphasize that he expects it to be permanent.
“I love it, it’s fire,” he said, before making it clear he does not believe in cover-ups or laser removals.
“You know you ain’t doing no cover-ups, no laser removals, none of that weak s**t. It’s forever and ever.”
The lack of self-awareness was almost impressive.
The Contrast Says Everything
Watching Chrisean cry through the removal of a face tattoo while Blueface celebrates new ink on someone else perfectly sums up why that original decision was such a bad one.
One person is paying the price physically, emotionally, and publicly.
The other continues the same pattern with someone new.
If anything, Chrisean’s tears feel less like heartbreak and more like clarity finally settling in.
Painful clarity, yes. Necessary clarity, absolutely.
Let this be a reminder. Love should never require permanent damage to your face, your self-worth, or your future.
Thoughts? Was this a lesson Chrisean had to learn the hard way, or should someone have stepped in sooner?
