“Power Book III: Raising Kanan” Season 4 is set to feature new faces with the addition of comedian and actor Chris Redd and Grammy Award-winning rapper Pardison Fontaine.
‘Raising Kanan’ Season 4
As production continues in New York, the series has already secured an early renewal for a fifth season, following the explosive Season 3 finale in February.
“Power Book III: Raising Kanan” delves into the early years of Kanan Stark, a character first brought to life by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson in the original “Power” series.
This prequel chronicles Kanan’s transformation from a naive teenager to a ruthless villain.
Season 3 left fans on the edge of their seats with a dramatic showdown between Kanan (Mekai Curtis) and his mother Raq (Patina Miller), featuring unexpected deaths and the return of a beloved character.
The series also stars London Brown.
Chris Redd will portray “Early Tyler,” described as a “trustworthy ally and secret-keeper.”
Early Tyler is a fixture in the neighborhood, a valuable friend if one can afford the steep cost of his loyalty.
Pardison Fontaine takes on the role of “B-Rilla,” a raw, volatile, and immensely talented young rapper serving time for armed robbery.
Lou-Lou (Malcolm M. Mays) recognizes B-Rilla’s potential and aims to sign him.
Sascha Penn continues as showrunner and executive producer for Season 4.
The series is produced by Lionsgate Television for Starz, with Courtney A. Kemp, the original creator and showrunner of “Power“, serving as an executive producer through her company End of Episode.
Other executive producers include Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson via G-Unit Film and Television, Mark Canton through Atmosphere Entertainment MM, as well as Chris Selak and Kevin Fox.
