Patina Miller, who plays Raquel Thomas on “Power Book II: Raising Kanan,” gave the scoop about season 2 while chatting with the ladies on “The View.”
During the interview, Patina opened up about having contracting COVID-19 and struggling with it for eight months.
We all went into the lockdown and two weeks after I got it.
And it was scary, it was something that I had never experienced before.
I’m super healthy! When I say super healthy…I take my vitamins, I work out, but it was unlike anything that I have ever felt.
I did not go into the hospital, but what I felt and struggled with at home I continued to feel for about eight months.
Patina Miller also shared that her 4-year-old and her husband, David Mars, got it – but she had it the worst.
The good news is they are all doing well now.
Sherri Shepherd and Sunny Hostin, who are big fans of the hit Starz drama, convinced Patina to spill some tea on “Raising Kanan” season 2.
Watch the video below to find out what she had to say.
Patina is an incredible actress, singer, and dancer who won a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her performance in the 2013 edition of the musical, “Pippin.”
She very well may have an Emmy on the way for her undeniable performance as Raquel in “Raising Kanan.”
We wish Patina Miller the best in all her endeavors.
