The 37-year-old singer and model, whose real name is Casandra Ventura, filed the lawsuit in Federal District Court in Manhattan.

In the lawsuit, Cassie said she met Diddy in 2015 when she was 19 and he began a pattern of control and abuse that included giving her large quantities of drugs, beating her, and forcing her to have sex with male prostitutes while he filmed the encounters.

Cassie also alleges that in 2018, near the end of their relationship, Diddy forced his way into her home and raped her.

How It Started…

In her lawsuit, Cassie admitted that she was swept up into Diddy’s jet-set lifestyle shortly after meeting him and signing to his label, Bad Boy Records.

She released her self-titled debut album in 2006

But, in addition to controlling her career, Cassie alleges that Diddy also paid for her car, apartments, her clothing, and even had access to her medical records – including an M.R.I. scan she had for memory loss, possibly caused by the beatings or excessive drug use.

Copious Amounts Of Drugs & Abuse

The lawsuit alleges that Diddy provided Cassie with “copious amounts of drugs” including ecstasy and ketamine, and urged her to take them.

She also alleges the music mogul often became violent and beat her “multiple times each year.”

However, Cassie never went to the police because she feared it “would merely give Mr. Combs another excuse to hurt her.”

The suit cites a 2009 incident in Los Angeles where Diddy became enraged after seeing Cassie talking to another talent agent.

He allegedly pushed her into a car and repeatedly kicked her in the face, making her bleed.

The suit alleges he made his staff take her to a hotel where she recuperated for a week and he wouldn’t allow Cassie to go home to her parents.

Cassie also alleged that Diddy isolated her from her circle of support.

Ms. Ventura felt that saying ‘no’ to Mr. Combs would cost her something — her family, her friends, her career, or even her life.”

And though she tried to leave Mr. Combs, the suit says he sent his employees to lure her back.
