Lizzo took to social media to offer a quick update on her well-being.

The Grammy Award-winning singer shared a mirror selfie while wearing a white robe and shared that she’s been working on herself as well as a number of other things – including her trust issues with the world.

Hi. I’m working.. on music, myself, relationships with people and food, my anxiety, my body, my business, and my trust issues with the world.. but they are deep now, deeper than they’ve ever been. Xoxo

It’s been a challenging year for Lizzo to say the very least.

In August, three of her former dancers, Crystal WilliamsArianna Davis, and Noelle Rodriguez filed a shocking lawsuit accusing the “Truth Hurts” singer and her team of weight-shaming, sexual harassment, and creating a hostile work environment.

From there, the floodgates opened and multiple people who have worked with Lizzo in some capacity came forward with their very own horror stories.

Lizzo, whose real name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, took to social media to defend her reputation saying that she is “not the villain that people and the media have portrayed me to be.”

I applaud Lizzo for putting in the work to become a better person.
