Based on the wildly popular video game created by Gearbox Software and published by 2K, this action-packed, science fiction adventure, directed by Eli Roth, is set to hit U.S. theaters on August 9, 2024.
About ‘Borderlands’
Borderlands follows the journey of Lilith (Cate Blanchett), an infamous bounty hunter with a shadowy past, who finds herself back on her tumultuous home planet, Pandora.
Tasked with finding the missing daughter of Atlas (Édgar RamÃrez), the most powerful man in the universe, Lilith is forced to team up with an unlikely group of misfits.
Her eclectic crew includes Roland (Kevin Hart), a battle-hardened mercenary; Tiny Tina (Ariana Greenblatt), a wild pre-teen demolition expert; Krieg (Florian Munteanu), Tiny Tina’s hulking protector; Tannis (Jamie Lee Curtis), a quirky scientist; and Claptrap (Jack Black), a sarcastic robot.
Together, they must face off against alien creatures and ruthless bandits while unraveling one of Pandora’s biggest secrets.
As they fight to save the universe, they also discover the true value of camaraderie and trust.
