Ice Cream Convos Podcast CEO, Xaviera, sat down with “BMF” star Rayan Lawrence for a fantastic and fun convo.
“BMF” dramatizes the inspiring true story of two brothers, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory, who rose from the decaying streets of southwest Detroit in the late ’80s and gave birth to one of the most influential crime families in the country: Black Mafia Family.
In the hit Starz series, Rayan plays the role of K-9, a vicious, high-level drug dealer from Detroit’s notorious, hard-nosed Brewster Projects.
K-9 has no fear of man and makes the streets his domain, demanding devotion and respect while destroying any who refuse it.
In “BMF” Season 2, Rayan’s role as K-9 is pivotal to the storyline as the Flenory Brothers expand “the business” into new territories and lock down new connects.
Rayan is a diverse actor who has been seen in a collection of hit TV series, including CBS’ “Magnum PI“, “FBI,” and “Blue Bloods“, and in a recurring role on WGN’s critically acclaimed series, “Underground.”
The Brooklyn native has a long list of impressive achievements, and he has added to his television appearances with roles in films including Barbershop: The Next Cut and the well-known Tupac drama, All Eyez On Me.
Watch below as Rayan Lawrence gives the scoop on his experience playing the role of K-9, what we can expect from the Season 2 finale, his forthcoming projects, and more.
Be sure to tune in to the “BMF” Season 2 finale, which drops on Friday, March 17.
