Beyoncé Tops Billboard Country Charts with 'Texas Hold 'Em'

Beyoncé Makes History

Beyoncé has made history as the first Black woman ever to top Billboard’s Hot Country Songs with her new single, “Texas Hold ‘Em!”

The single, which dethroned Zach Bryan and Kacey Musgraves’ “I Remember Everything,” also opened at No. 2 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.

Beyoncé dropped “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages” during the Super Bowl sending her fans into a frenzy.

The singles also sparked a flurry of online discussions about country music as it relates to the Black community.

And I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the overflow of TikTok dances to “Texas Hold ‘Em.”
