Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is ready to work with Taraji P. Henson.
The rapper and entertainment mogul took to Instagram on Tuesday and shared a screenshot of a Deadline article that said Taraji fired her entire time for not capitalizing on the success of her “Empire” character, “Cookie Lyon.”
In the caption, 50 Cent wrote, “🤦♂️They dropped the ball fvck em @tarajiphenson I’m ready to work let’s get it! GLG🚦GreenLightGang 💣G-unit Film&Tv”
See the original post below.
Curtis has come quite a long way from his days of trolling Taraji in the streets of social media to create a rivalry between “Empire” and his show, “Power.”
You may recall that “Raising Kanan” star Patina Miller even spoke out against 50 Cent trying to compare her character Raquel Thomas to Cookie Lyon.
Normally I wouldn’t comment, but i feel its necessary…both of these characters are strong af.
I love that queen and look up to her! I do think both characters can co exist and one doesn’t have to be “better” than the other…
Lift them both up!! Thank you for your support always @50cent
Now that he’s ready to collaborate rather than hate, 50 Cent’s post was filled with excitement as people began to make suggestions on potential roles for Taraji.
“Power Book IV: Force” star Kris D. Lofton immediately put in his bid for Taraji P. Henson to join the cast as Mama Sampson.
“LETS GET HER TO CHICAGO!!!!! @tarajiphenson THE SAMPSON BROTHERS MOM?!???? 👀👀👀😳🤯🤯,” he commented.
New Edition singer Michael Bivins is ready to pitch an Oscar-winning project to Fiddy and Taraji.
He wrote, “She is a actress with a ill style and you pull this trigger I got an idea for you! The illest movie for her Academy Award.”
I think Taraji P. Henson deserves to be the lead and paid handsomely in whatever project 50 Cent presents to her – should she accept his offer.
