Well, Frens…We have reached the Season 6 finale of “The Chi” and nothing could have prepared fans of the show for the events that unfolded.

Thanksgiving/Checkmate
In the episode titled “Thanksgiving,” we immediately learn that someone has finally punched Douda’s clock, but his killer is revealed later in the episode.
The inevitable occurs: Kiesha is pregnant, and she and Emmett are expecting their first child together.
Kiesha, Emmett, Tiff, and Rob bring their uniquely blended “new age” families together for a Thanksgiving feast, which proves to be a time of bonding among perfectly imperfect loved ones.
Kiesha’s mama, Nina, is in love under new management and announces she’s putting Chicago in her rearview mirror to move out of town with her girlfriend LaPorsha (Da Brat).
Things get a bit awkward when Alicia introduces Shaad to Rob as her “special friend.”
Douda spends the holiday in the sunken place with his pistol.
Maisha makes a decision about her long-distance relationship with Kevin.
Emmett begins building a bond with his half-brother, Damien.
Bakari confronts Brittney about her betrayal.
One of Pastor Ezekiel’s chickens comes home to roost when Charles (Rotimi) shows up in his sanctuary.
Tiff and Rob explore expanding their weed empire with shrooms.
Alicia makes her move to take out Douda, but Nuck beats her to the punch by putting a bullet in his head.
After killing Douda, Nuck has the juice now, and his first order of business is pressuring Bakari to come back into the fold.
Lynae gives Bakari an ultimatum, and he makes a heart-wrenching choice.
Rob meets with Nuck to deliver his final payment, but when he refuses to fall in line, he meets an untimely and devastating fate.
