Uche, Aaliyah, & Lydia
I feel totally confident in saying the producers of this season will not see heaven for what happened to Aaliyah Cosby.
When the beautiful 29-year-old ICU travel nurse met Uche in the pods – she felt like she had found her perfect match and her future husband.
Uche Okoroha is a 34-year-old lawyer and entrepreneur, whose personality has the depth of ChatGPT.
He and Aaliyah were rocking and rolling in the pods and strengthening their connection until she admitted that she cheated on her ex-boyfriend two years ago during “Honesty Hour.”
Uche unexpectedly morphed into the moral police from the self-righteous precinct and scolded Aaliyah like she was a convicted felon.
Devastated, Aaliyah went crying into the arms of her pod bestie Lydia.
Lydia Velez Gonzalez is a 32-year-old geologist whose arroz is missing the con pollo.
She seemingly has a heart of gold, but she is DESPERATE to find love in the pods.
Lydia came to “Love Is Blind” with a Denzel Washington “I’m leaving here with something” mindset. (IYKYK)
After some self-reflection, Uche realized he went too hard on Aaliyah and that her past City Girl shenanigans weren’t worth him potentially missing out on the love of his life.
After mending their relationship, Uche decided to come clean and inform Aaliyah that he’d dated one of the girls in the pods.
That’s when he dropped the bomb and revealed his ex-girlfriend is Lydia!
Yes, the same Lydia who is pod besties with Aaliyah!
Oh, and Uche and Lydia slept together just three months before entering the pods…
