Very sad news coming out of Memphis. Anthony “Big Jook” Mims, the brother of rapper Yo Gotti, was shot and killed on Saturday after attending a funeral.
Memphis Police said that one man was killed and another man was injured outside of Perignons Restaurant and Event Center on the 6300 block of Winchester Road around 4 p.m.
Big Jook was rushed to St. Francis Hospital, where he died.
Police said that the other man arrived at St. Francis Hospital by private vehicle and was listed in critical condition.
Authorities believe both men were targeted in the shooting.
Despite having surveillance footage of the shooting police have not been able to identify a suspect.
