A woman who lives in Germany went viral when she posted a video on TikTok of her reminiscing about the time she faked her wedding to get back at her ex-boyfriend.

Sarah Vilard and her boyfriend split in 2019, and shortly after she carried out a fake wedding plan to make him jealous.

She rented out an elaborate venue, hired a groom, and she got her friends to play the roles of bridesmaids.

She captioned the video, “Yup, I’m crazy.”

The video shows pictures of Sarah and her hired groom embracing and holding hands, and there is also a picture of Sarah holding hands with one of her bridesmaids.

Sarah posted the pictures to her Instagram for her ex to see, and she said her plan worked.

He found out through Instagram and texted me the next day and freaked out because he thought I was cheating on him while we were together.

That, of course, wasn’t the case. But he came to my house and wanted to talk to me afterward. I wasn’t interested.

After her plan was complete, Sarah deleted him from her socials and moved on with her life.

The video has over two million views, and it received mixed reactions.

Sarah said she was “satisfied” with the results of her plan despite people thinking she was crazy.

I think people think I’m crazy.

But overall, I’ve had mostly good reactions and over 5,000 people following me.

Sarah is enjoying the viral attention she is getting from sharing her story.
