According to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office, Rayshard was shot twice in the back and his death has been ruled as a homicide.
At this time, no charges have been filed against the officer who pulled the trigger.
Chris Stewart, the attorney for the Brooks family, confirmed Tyler Perry has stepped up to cover the cost of Rayshard’s funeral arrangements.
The news comes as no surprise as Tyler is known to step in and help families in their darkest hour.
He most recently provided George Floyd’s family and Rev. Al Sharpton with his private jet to travel to multiple states for his memorial services.
God bless, T.P.
